What makes a day here different

A girl runs smiling through a meadow during an outdoor activity

Nature is a classroom, not a field trip

Garden, woods, countryside and local spaces are part of every week's teaching. Learning by doing builds autonomy, self-confidence and a real bond with the environment.

How outdoor education works

Two languages, naturally

Native Italian and English teachers share the children's days: English is not a subject on a timetable, it is a language you live.

Our bilingual model

Every child, their own path

Small, child-sized classes and adults who observe, accompany and build individual paths, respecting each child's pace.

Our teaching approach

“From the moment we stepped into Kiddywinks, it was clear this is a special setting. The love and care from the staff make this nursery feel like a second home.”

Chamila, mother of Leonardo, age 4

Real days, not brochure days

Music, gardening, woodworking, experiments, excursions: the photographs tell the method before the words do.

Moving to Tuscany with children?

Many of our families arrived in Lucca from abroad. We support international families settling in the area: a welcoming community where children keep their mother tongue while becoming part of Italian life.

Meet the team

“We moved to Lucca from abroad. My daughter was wonderfully integrated into the class and is genuinely excited to go to school every day.”

Our local network

We work with the associations that keep the cultural identity of the Lucca area alive, through traditions, arts and outdoor activities.
